Catherine Fitzsimons is Horizon Quantum’s Chief Legal and Compliance Officer, Executive Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, and Company Secretary. She oversees all legal and compliance matters and leads key strategic initiatives as part of Horizon Quantum’s long-term growth plans. 

Catherine joined Horizon from Fidelity International, where she held numerous leadership positions, most recently as Director of Strategic Initiatives, designing and executing key transformation initiatives. She previously served as Fidelity’s Head of Global Product Legal and was also the Chair of Fidelity’s Irish-domiciled fund ranges.

Earlier in her career, Catherine spent several years at large Irish and international law firms. She is a member of the Law Society of Ireland and a Certified Investment Fund Director. She holds a Bachelor of Civil Law and a Post-graduate Diploma in International Financial Services Law from University College Dublin.
