We’re pleased to announce the appointment of Amanda Chew as Chief Product Officer. Since joining Horizon Quantum in 2020, Amanda has played a pivotal role in shaping product vision and strategy. As CPO, she will continue to oversee product development efforts that seek to advance our mission: unlocking broad quantum advantage by building software infrastructure to empower developers to use quantum computing to solve the world’s toughest computational problems.

"As Chief Product Officer, I look forward to continuing to shape our product strategy, leading the development of products that create greater value for our users and collaborators, and helping to position Horizon Quantum to unlock the full potential of quantum computing as the industry continues to evolve."

Amanda joined Horizon Quantum as Product Manager. She was later promoted to Director of Product and then to Vice President of Product, a position she will continue to hold until her promotion to CPO becomes effective on August 17. Before coming to Horizon, Amanda held various positions at Microsoft, including Senior Program Manager for Microsoft Visual Studio App Center.

Amanda has a Bachelor of Science from Brown University in mathematics and computer science, and she has received executive certifications in design thinking, innovation, entrepreneurship, business strategy, and finance from Stanford University, Wharton Executive Education, and INSEAD Executive Education.
