In this talk, Dr Joe Fitzsimons introduced Horizon’s work on compiling classical code to quantum circuits, and the approach Horizon uses to automatically detect potential quantum speedups in the code.

Horizon’s CEO Dr Joe Fitzsimons presented at Rigetti Advantage 2020. His talk covered Horizon’s progress in characterising quantum processors and mitigating the effects of errors through frame updates and decoupling methods. To enable this work, Horizon was granted early access to Rigetti’s framework which was publicly announced at the event.
